Adult Sunday School Classes (SS=Sunday School Building):

NURSERY: A nursery for ages infant – 4 years old is available during Sunday morning worship and during Sunday School. Our nursery is in the Main Building, down the hall from the church office.
The Ironmen meet at 6:00 a.m. in the Prayer Room each week. 
The Way of the Wolf, by Martin Bell  -- This class is a book study with Pastor Tim  beginning on Thursdays November 20th 7:00 - 8:30 in the Sunday School Building. This book is a collection of intriguing tales, timeless poetry, enchanting songs with Beguiling characters like Barrington Bunny, Joggi, the porcupine, Joshua, the boy who has lost his magic, and the great silver wolf .  This book will inspire you to consider and celebrate such things as love, forgiveness, acceptance, salvation and commitment.
The Lord is Our Light
God’s hope and presence through a study of the Scripture readings for Advent and Christmas.  This class will be offered on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm beginning Sunday, Nov. 30 & Wednesday, Dec. 3.  Books have been ordered, however, this study is available online in an instant download readable on any laptop or smartphone available on Amazon. Facilitated by Jim Miller.
CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: “A Capital C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S” Children’s Christmas Performance Practices start next Sunday, Nov. 30th during Sunday School hour.   The program will be performed on Friday, December 19th with supper at 5:30 and the play at 6:30.
  • Substitute Sunday School Teacher:  November 30th   &/or Dec. 28th for the Junior High Class: See Onni Cesta for details:
  • Children's Church:  December, both services, every week
  • Ushers: December both services, every week
MATTHEW 25:35 FOOD PANTRY:  The Food Pantry will  be closed on November 26.
URGENT ITEMS NEEDED FOR THE PANTRY:  canned meat, tuna and chicken, and ready made meals, such as canned spaghetti, ravioli, etc.
The following areas are in great need of volunteers:
  • Help on Sunday morning to hand out food from 7:15 - 8:30AM
  • Driver to pick up Mondays from Winn Dixie ( 10:00 - 11:00ish)
  • Driver to pick up Fridays from Winn Dixie (20:00 - 11:00ish)
We can also use help in the following areas:
  • Helper for Winn Dixie pick up Monday, Wednesday or Friday
  • Help on Wednesday mornings 9:00 - Noon
  • Help to make bags on Monday 9:30
  • Help on the First Wednesday from 5:15-7PM
Please pray to see if you are being called to do any of the above tasks. I promise it is a blessing to see what God is doing in this ministry. I invite each class, small group, family and individual to volunteer at least once so you can experience what God is doing in your church. It is AMAZING!!
CUBA MISSIONS NEWS:  We’re planning to visit Park Temple Iglesia, our sister church in Cuba, for 5 or 6 days in Feb-Mar of 2015.  (The exact time will depend upon the availability of our group.)  Please let Jim, Pam, or Ronda know of your interest by Nov 22nd, as we need to make travel arrangements months in advance.  It will be something you’ll never forget – or want to!
ASSISTANCE FOR SINGLES PARENTS: Available for children ages 4-12.  November 24, 25, 26- 7:30am – 5:30 pm.  More information is located in the Narthex or visiting her facebook page or website
APRIL’S HARP RECITAL:  Our Music Director, April Ebeling, will have her graduate recital on Monday, November 17th at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church on the Loyola Campus.  All are invited to attend.
CUB SCOUT BENEFIT GARAGE SALE:  Saturday, November 15th- 7:30am-12:00pm.  Items welcomed from church members.  Items can be brought to church starting 11/12-11/4.
