CHOIR NEWS:  We will be having a listening party at the church this Monday night 10/27 at 7pm for anyone interested in singing with us for Christmas, and we would love for you to join us this year.  If you need info, please talk to April Ebeling. See the choir page for a practice and performance schedule.

CUBA MISSIONS NEWS:  We’re planning to visit Park Temple Iglesia, our sister church in Cuba, for 5 or 6 days in Feb-Mar of 2015.  (The exact time will depend upon the availability of our group.)  Please let Jim, Pam, or Ronda know of your interest by Nov 22nd, as we need to make travel arrangements months in advance.  It will be something you’ll never forget – or want to!

ASSISTANCE FOR SINGLES PARENTS: Debra Rieder, former director of Beecuz You Matter Girls’ Camp, is having a Thanksgiving Camp for Single Parents who live in St. Charles Parish and are currently employed and in need of child care for the Mon. – Wed. of Thanksgiving week when schools are closed and parents are still working.  The cost is low, and the benefits grand.  Debra is founder of the newly organized non-profit AFSP (Assistance for Single Parents).  Some of the other activities planned are a free shopping day in Dec. with gift cards in tow and bi-monthly presentation and discussions.   She is also looking for donations to support this worthwhile support for single parents.  More information is located in the Narthex or visiting her facebook page or website www@AssistanceForSingleParents.org.

PROPERY MANAGEMENT:  Don’t forget to submit your meeting and regular scheduled events for 2015.  You can submit your Building Request Forms for these events and meetings, NOW!!

KAIROS:  Thanks to everyone who baked cookies and donated money to help with Kairos.  Thanks to those who have signed up to pray Thursday-Sunday.
