Welcome to Luke's House
Luke's House is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization addressing the health and spiritual needs of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Affiliated with the United Methodist Church, Luke's House works closely with church leaders and congregations from across the country to bring healing and compassion to the underserved community of New Orleans.

Services Include:
- Medical clinic - general medical care for adults and children
- Spiritual/Pastoral Counseling
- Psychiatry/Mental Health Counseling
- Prescription Assistance Program
- Referrals - provided for patients who need continual follow-up visits for medical or mental health issues or for specialty care.
- Childhood immunizations
- Medical Interpretation for Spanish-speaking patients
- NO/AIDS Taskforce - Provides confidential HIV testing and counseling
- Homeless Ministry - Shelter vouchers for the Salvation Army, snacks, and hygiene items
- Clothing Closet - Free clothing is available to those in need

Luke's House Needs YOU!!
Luke's house has a building…. But now it is up to our District to make it home!!
On May 14th about 30 people from the District and Conference worked on Luke's House. With their service an ENORMOUS amount was accomplished at Luke's House. There was painting, sheetrock hung, siding put up, doors hung, shelving installed, shutters fixed, bushes trimmed, weeds killed, reception desk finished, cleaning done and MOSTER VINES taken down!
There is still much work to be done and individuals or groups can volunteer. There is interior painting to finish, siding to secure with screws, sanding, pressure washing, exterior painting and more. I know Lisa will have a job for you if you feel called to give service!! The sooner the house is finished the sooner the clinic can have a permanent home.

A Day of Caring: Feed My Sheep
